I bought a pair of Altra Escalante that has a wide toe bed. They have zero drop, no arch support. I have flat feet and need arch support. My current insoles are not wide enough in the toe bed. Does the Aiir orthotic have a wide toe bed?

Asked by: Holly88
“Our insoles are not specifically made in wide sizes. The toe bend and forefoot area dimensions depend on the specific insole and your shoe size. Please email help@4implus.com with your question and details of your shoe size and we would be happy to advise you further.”

I have really bad heels, they always hurt during the day, I walk on concrete 8 hours a day every day! I have a neutral arc. Which insole will be the best for this?

Asked by: Bobhay
We recommend trying the AIRR Performance insole or the Athlete. Both of these insoles provide extra cushioning in the heel. The AIRR Performance is suitable for Neutral Arches and features an encapsulated air chamber in the heel and arch, as well as Polymer Gel in the forefoot for superior shock absorption. The Athlete insole is also designed for Neutral Arches and provides maximum cushioning and support for various activities.

Physical Therapist recommended these for my daughter as her high arches have fallen. The only problem we are having is getting them in her tennis shoes, makes them where they slip. Is it better to take out the shoe insoles and just use these?

Asked by: MissyD
“We typically recommend removing the original insole, however they can be worn with or without it. Usually it depends on personal preference and how much room there is in the shoe. Because she is having issues with getting them into her shoes, we would recommend giving it a try with the original soles removed.”

I have a normal arch and no real problems, but my knee flares up from time to time which might be helped by more foot support; looking for a good insole that offers additional stability and mostly cushioning for long distance backpacking. Recommendation?

Asked by: djtrekker
We would recommend either the AIRR or the Athlete insole. The AIRR insole features an encapsulated air chamber in the heel and arch, as well as Polymer Gel in the forefoot area for maximum shock absorption. The Athlete is designed for the individual looking for comfort as well as shock absorption. Both of these insoles are suitable for Neutral arches.

I have tried your Plantar Fascia Orthotic Insole. Good but it move when exercising. I have heel spur and low arch. Should I try your Sof Sole Airr Orthotic Insole?

Asked by: GCBB
We would suggest trying the AIRR Orthotic or FIT Low Arch Insole. The AIRR Orthotic features an encapsulated air chamber in the heel and polymer gel in the forefoot for maximum shock absorption. It is designed for low to neutral arch types and has a nylon plate in the arch and heel for stability. The FIT Low Arch insole has an anatomical nylon plate with tuned high-rebound foam. It works in conjunction with your foot type and helps to promote the natural biomechanics of your unique stride. Both insoles are also full length, which will not slip when exercising.

Looking for a pair of insoles for my hiking boots. Hiking through Spain about 15 miles a day. Low arches.

Asked by: Camino
We recommend the AIRR or Athlete insole. Both were designed for Low to Neutral arches and provide extra cushioning and shock absorption. The AIRR Insole features an encapsulated air chamber in the heel and arch, as well as Polymer Gel in the forefoot for customers looking for the ultimate in shock absorption. The Athlete insole has gel in the heel and forefoot to absorb the shock of each foot strike.

I need relief from plantar fasciitis and a neuroma . I need more than just comfort; which insole will give me the relief I need?

Asked by: Karmic
We would recommend our Plantar Fascia insole for the issues that you have mentioned. This Insole is long-lasting and a comfortable solution for pain resulting from stress placed on the plantar fascia. Its ¾ length design fits any shoe type and works to keep feet supported and stable. The Plantar Relief Bridge provides sturdy support to painful arches, while the heel cup provides motion control and stability.

I have rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis in my knees, fibromyalgia, and sjogrens. I suffer from extreme pain in my feet and all over my body. No matter what tennis shoes I buy every pair always has these AIRR orthotic insoles. Im not an athlete but wear these every day of my life or I can barely walk at all. My husband is a long distance runner from Morocco and he now uses these in his steel toed boots to work since hes on his feet all day. These orthotics are a must in our household.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these insoles orthotics!! I bought these a couple of years ago in Reno, when my husband and I were passing through. Saw these at Cabelas and had to try them. They are amazing I am on my feet all day long with my job ( also very active. You will not be disappointed I also us them in my running shoes. These are the only insoles that have a lot of cushion in the forefoot area that I have tried! ( I have used every single one out there). Please don't discontinue these insoles or I am up the crreek!!
